MID-SMESTER TEST AND QUIZ 2

The mid-semester test at 10 am on Wednesday 31 March In Mason Theatre will cover all material from lectures in weeks 1-4. This includes chapters 1-7 and 13.1-13.5. Students will need to bring pen/pencil and calculator.

 

Quiz 2 (Assignment 2) is due at midnight Friday 26 March.

Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Sessions

PAL sessions begin Monday 8th March in the following rooms:

Monday 1-2pm E8A360A (Meagan), E7B264 (Shirdhya)

Tuesday 1-2pm C4A320 (Matt), E7B319 (Emma)

Wednesday 1-2pm E8A360A (Shirdhya), E7B319 (Matt)

Thursday 1-2pm E8A360A (Kelly), E7B319 (Samantha)

Attendance is voluntary but highly recommended for those requiring additional assistance.

Mid-Semester Test

There is an error on page 7 of Unit Outline which states that the mid-semester test starts at 11.05 am. The test is held in the normal Wednesday lecture at 10.05 am on Wednesday 31 March

LABORATORY CLASSES BEGIN IN WEEK 2

 Week A laboratory classes begin 1st March (week 2). Students must come to the laboratory (E7B 308 entrance from balcony) prepared with lab notes (with completed pre-lab exercise handed in by 10 am that morning), lab coat and covered feet. Safety glasses are supplied.

Welcome to CBMS101 for 2010, hope you all had a great Summer vacation.

Lectures and tutorials begin on Monday 22nd February ie. in Week 1. Please check your tutorial room ON THIS CBMS101 WEBSITE as some allocated rooms have changed. Normal laboratory sessions begin in Week 2

During Week 1, please check either the 1st year notice boards on the 3rd floor E7B, or login and check on-line for your tutorial and practical allocation. If you haven't been allocated a tutorial or practical group please see me in room 333, Building F7B.
