Scholarships and Prizes
There are several Scholarships and Prizes that are given out on merit to students studying chemistry.
Degree Programs
There are several degree programs in which chemistry can be studied.

As a major study within the Bachelor of Science (BSc), chemistry is usually combined with other subjects such as biology, computing, physics, electronics, geology, mathematics and computing, statistics and psychology.

Chemistry can be studied at an advanced level in the Bachelor of Science in Advanced Chemistry. Note: there is no HECS for the Advanced Chem units.

The Bachelor of Science in Molecular Technologies is a new degree for 2003 and is more applied and specialised. It has been developed in collaboration with industry.

Chemistry is also studied as part of the Bachelor of Medical Sciences, Bachelor of Marine Science and Bachelor of Environmental Sciences.

Bridging Course in General Chemistry
The Department will be running a bridging course
for new students wishing to enrol in CBMS101 in
2008. This course runs from February 18 - 22 and
is highly recommended for those who have no or
minimal previous chemistry experience.

Doing Honours - It's only 1 more year!

- Honours Degree of Bachelor of Science (Molecular Technologies) - BSc(MolTech) Hons
- Honours Degree of Bachelor of Medical Sciences - BMedScs(Hons)
