The Macquarie University Society of Chemistry And Biomolecular Sciences (or in short: SCABS) consists of a group of undergraduate and postgraduate students at Macquarie who are interested in chemistry or biomolecular sciences and/or are considering chemistry / biomolecular sciences as a career. The Society keeps members up-to-date with the latest research and events in chemistry, and organises functions such as trivia nights, BBQs, workshops and sporting events (ice skating, rock climbing) to allow members to keep in touch. It is very much a fun society and it will take your mind of studying for a while.
It is free to join, and you can do so by sending an email to joanne.jamie@.mq.edu.au or simply follow the links on this site that say Join SCABS.
Looking forward to see you at the events,
